Please STOP the races on Sunday....3 lives lost is enough!!
Joey was my dear nephew, we are very, very sad.

-----------------------------------

When I saw that, it was enough for me to wonder if that is really what should be done?

To the person that suggested the boaters should take a lap, in unity, slow would've been the classiest statement ever.

Praying God keeps all those who decided to race safe.

Go back and read post #3 from F1-00 Racing. That sums it up. The race(s) should continue.

Jiggsy,

Thank you for deleting your first statement of your response! The families wishes are always kept in mind and your opinion is valued, but please answer the 2 questions I posed to you in the first paragraph of my response about bike week and Nascar. I can come up with more if needed but I think the point is proven.

Default Should have been rescheduled after the first crash..

Racing accidents will always happen. These boats need
capsules similar to unlimited or top fuel hydros to compete in a sanctioned event..period.. Not saying that's a cure all.. But it would be a major step in rite direction..

bingo, lets hope the sanction bodies look hard at the boats and learn what needs to be done,

I agree somewhat with you, but I bring this thought to the table. Why put it into the sanctioning bodies hands? I feel the racers themselves should mandate the changes and bring them to the sanctioning bodies to enforce. I mean the racers are the ones with their lives on the line. At the very least, the sanctioning bodies and racers should work hand in hand. As Steve David eloquent as usual said in another thread, the resources are available.

This is my last post on this thread, I must bow out. I received a private message from Jiggsy and he/she turned this political, no need to get into the exact content, but the group that only has 1 race is not any better than the ones that have full schedules. Its a shame, in the pits yesterday one of the race teams, that just got elected to the board, used the deaths of people we love as a platform to gain support for this group as well. What a travesty this has become. I'm done folks

I request that this thread be deleted, IB can verify the content of the private message as a basis
