Default PowerboatingCharities.com FINALLY online

www.powerboatingcharities.com is finally online albeit unfinished. Please take a look at it and tell me what you think so far. Constructive criticism is welcome.

I will be at the NY Poker Run all weekend collecting donations for the MALIA BROTHERS COLLGE TRUST FUND, and the FRIENDS OF DOUG LEWIS charity for his bone-marrow transplant. Any one who makes a donation will be entered in a drawing for an SRP high-impact poker run life jacket (donated by SRP and Marine Machine), three inflatable fanny packs donated by Seastar Yachts and a ladies leather jacket donated by Marine Machine.

Information on both these charities is available on the web site.

I will be located in the Total Dollar Booth, with the Poker Runs of America guys or on the Linssen DS45.

Any help is appreciated.

Happy Flag Day!
Best regards and happy boating,
Jennifer Quinn

PS- Brendan, I mutilated the logo you designed. I need it on a black background. Sorry....

Default Charity website

Hi Jennifer,

I posted the address of your new powerboating charities on the powerboat ([email protected]) discussion web site. Although that site mostly includes the Hydroplane/F1 racing people I'm certain many, as I, have an interest in offshore boating, racing and private.

I am fairly new to this group but have been following many of the threads on the OSO site and truly wonder at the comraderie of all the OSO members thru the sad as well as the fun times.

Take care,
Your efforts in assisting others is appreciated by all

PS: If you are a member of the APBA I'm certain they would be only too happy to link to your site.

I would like to thank everyone that made a donation. We raised a total of $1,519 at the NPBA NYC Poker Run in under three hours! The monies will be split equally between the Malia Brothers College Trust Fund and the Friends of Doug Lewis.

I just finished posting about 75 digital photos on the site www.PowerboatingCharities.com

I will have the photos from the actual run back tonight or tomorrow. I shot them on film to be on the safe side....

Best regards and happy boating,
