OMG thats Octavian, boat originally built with 3 575's (supercharged 454 magnums) boat would only do about 65.
Jesus christ on a bicycle- You can't give 47 hulls away, there are several sitting around waiting to be restored and that hull looks bare.

I saw it a few years ago and my life passed before my eyes ... that night I dreamed I was chasing a tornado with all my life savings spinning around... what a nightmare. Will be interesting to see what it goes for..

The 47 is octavian, tagged a 98 mcmanus (interesting past how it got that way boat was built in 80's). only a few screws left in it and the liner is cut out. was going to be converted to twins, full cabin, enclosed head, galley... motors from the sutphen were going to be put in the apache.

OK I was off base on that. But, that Octavian hull is still a challenge. The boat was dropped, so they built a new hull and retitled it as an 1998. It still only had 3 - 525's in it and may have been the slowest 47 out there.

We know where there's one or 2 and we're getting closer and closer to finally pulling trigger, but prices continue to keep dropping ... incredible. Plus we cant sell what we got to make room for the 47'
... where/when will it bottom out??!?
Good on the purchase side, but if ya gotta move something it aint so good!
