I agree with the Poker Run boat, great idea. We would have to rig the boat for liability reasons, but would be happy to put your 800 in one.. Would be a badass boat Gary.

What kind of #'s can you expect to see with the 525 and the right set up? Most of the the SVL's are running 90+ on a good day....

Exactly - so we will have to run those speeds to be competitive, but do not see that being an issue. Will have some test numbers in a few weeks. Our 625 Ilmor boat fully loaded, cabin, open cockpit and weighing close to 6000lbs ran 83 mph.

How would the rollcage work with a Poker Run conversion? How much cockpit space would it take up?

If you look at the drawing the gray lines would be the removable top, the roll cage would run along that seam.

Im thinking your a bit low...more like 125-150k

By the time you add power/labor, props, safety gear, communications, straps, cover, props, and trailer.

Beautiful boat though. I'de be very interested to see how this boat runs.

How much is a 525 package (with drive) new from mercury?
The way I read it the boat is rigged and ready for power to drop in. Would I be wrong in suggesting if you had the engine and drive delivered to frisni they would install as part of the $65000 price?
You are right but no mention of trailer in pricing. I'm in Australia, what's a trailer worth to build in the states?

I stand corrected. it does say rigged, less power. If thats true, 65k is a very reasonable price. I would like to see a complete list of whats included in that price.
A merc 525 will set you back around 35k. Trailers can run anywhere from 4k to 15k
