Default Underwater surface drive video 170 mph

This is another video from X Power Drive. It is on that same Spectre 32 and in the video it goes 170mph. It shows how a surface drive works in action from under the water. You can see how less than half the prop is in the water. This boat is setup with the prop shaft center line is 3.75 inches above the bottom of the boat. Boat starts moving just past the minute mark.

Yup but that prop sure does... In, Out every rotation.

Explains why my buddies with Fountain and Hi X Dims break shafts and prop blades on their Bravos cause they are used the same way as a #6 (surface drive) with far from #6 drive prop construction.

It's the 32 spectre with twin 1270hp pfaff motors on pump gas. The motors made a little over 1600 on race gas on the dyno, but we have never run on the higher boost levels yet. The efi is motec fuel management systems with data aquisition. It has our X Power Drives on it. We use it as our test mule and the drives have run for over 2 years problem free with the same oil in it. We have had it to 173 and it was still going but for some reason I have never legged it out all the way, and it doesn't matter if it has 1 or 5 people in it it goes pretty good. Luckily it has been very very reliable. It has only had 2 problems. One was I kept dropping the water pressure because everybody said 60psi was to much and once I was down around 30 it actually detonated a piston. (not fun) I raised the water pressure back up and the motors are perfect but now I have cracked the sea strainer lids, so I made them out of billet aluminum and problem solved. It also has our New X Power Stainless Gimbal rings which we now sell to the public and warranty for life. The boat has automated trim functions, and lots of underwater lights, and tunnel lights, and interior lights that change color. Also the stereo is the actual monster of the boat. Took months to build the stereo and it is fun. It also has a generator on board. So it"s 50 lbs of stuff in a 5 lb bag. It also has about a thousand other things, but that's boating. I built it to display the X Power Drives and show different technologies that don't exist in the boating world. It took about 2 solid years to build. I hope this helps.. In this link it's a little video of the boat.

also if you guys ever want any of the speaker/hatch parts made, I have all the molds and they fit right in your boats.
