Why dont you post exactly what the items are so folks can look out for them? Just saying a lens or a memory stick doesn't give us much to go by.

I would bet the cleaning crew as well. Lani Kai on Ft. Myers Bch. is notorious for this. Cops wont even take a report anymore for stolen cash.

Does she have a homeowners or renters policy? This stuff could be covered for replacement cost under either of those policies.

This kind of stuff sucks.

If it is at a pawn shop it will only go for pennies on the dollar. What a waste.

Oh man, sorry to hear that. I was worried about the same thing with my camera stuff down there and riding in boats. I used to carry commercial insurance on it but really didn't do enough stuff to justify the cost which is probably the same case for her. If she was doing it as a "vacation" homeowners may cover it?
