High End Storage Suites / Mancaves in Florida
 

Not sure what the demand is for this type of storage space but if you find yourself in the market for individual ownership of a climate controlled quality constructed place to escape to or keep your toys you ought to consider Hyde Park now offering units in Daytona Beach.

I own a 20' x 55' here just outside of Charlotte & its the best purchase I've ever made. Allows me to boat year round as well as tinker, clean whatever regardless of the weather. Space like this is hard to come by let alone the fact that I own it & it's individually climate controlled.

Some purchase as investments & make theirs available for lease so that may be an option for the guy who isn't interested in owning.

That looks great. I know of something similar in Minnesota that is specifically for cars but the spaces can be customized however you want.

man thats awesome! i noticed you have a hose in there. does the carpet have drainage or how does that work?

They all have a hose bib & recessed cleanout tied into the sewer for waste pump out (specifically located in the corner so it could be utilized for the toilet & bathroom drains).

I do not have a central located drain so I use the hose when I wash outside then back inside for drying out of the heat & or cold.

Brian that is the exact problem with condo warehouses, the maintenance/HOA costs are more than local rents even with no mortgage!

I would hope the Daytona units are atleast tilt wall (concrete) for $99 a sq ft but I suspect it will be a steel buildling.

The news clip showed individual bathrooms (very top of the line ones) but the Daytona units mention only clubhouse bathrooms?

The POA Fee in Daytona is $.055 Cents per foot, so $1,100 sq ft unit is $60 / month. It is included in the lease amount which is $8 per sq ft. The purchase price is $99 per sq ft and the building is tilt wall. All units have individual HVAC units and are fully finished. There is a main sewer trunk line in the slab for individual bathrooms. We also have the common clubhouse that has a common bathroom/shower and 900 sq ft bar/gathering room.

The place is awesome, I have worked in it and have even spent a night in Nascats place. It is the coolest thing ever!!!

Not to change the topic, but do any Nascar guys have high-end PR Boats?....I know they are super busy all year racing, but was curious if any of the top guys have Skaters, MTIs, OL, Cigs etc...

Nascat is one of my favs, love the smaller 30, Ilmor Pkg...!!

For the most part NO, several drivers / crew chiefs have played here & there w/ Hi Perf boats but for the most part they prefer turn key fun whether that be a ski, house or cruiser boat. No time for hi maintenance!

We have those in Wichita Kansas!! Unfortunately taking the boat to a wheat field just isn't the same!! Still a great place to store toys.

Hyde Park is now open in Daytona and will offer 30 days free if anyone wants to try out the facility.
