It was an inagural one for DSM. The poker run was a blast. The weather was a typical beautiful So. Cal. day. There were about 60 boats there and we all had fun. I was in HavasuCat's new Ts Top Gun (500EFI's) and we ran up in the front of the pack. There were some big 4'-7' footers out there and it was rough in the beginning. The Top Gun just blasted through the rough stuff and we literally left the fleet behind, way behind. We actually were running in 2nd the whole way, and finished 2nd. We were following a 42' Tiger with 900's that was out of our reach. On the way to Catalina Island, the helicopter was right above us for about 10 minutes! It was so cool. I can't wait to see the video from this!
