No doubt Fountain's have speed, and that's cool you can get there with that kinda of bank. but you threw it out there, now we have to look for a 24' to challenge you because your boat isn't a true 27?

bert, youre comparing how an almost 29' boat will handle the chop to a 27'boat that really only offers about 24' of its hull to the waves. lets be slightly more realistic. im sure it would be close in 1-2's anyway. btw im achieving those speeds with around 30k invested in everything.
rob, +1 for bandit performance, my engine shop used some great parts and knowledge. how much tq from your 600" ? |
I will run you with my 30 year old beater "if it floats"

i have a crane 139651 cam, advertised duration 306int/318exh and didnt want reversion issues.
just criticisms or nonsense http://www.cranecams.com/product/car...detail&p=24223 700HP you say. Hmmmm. Really curious to see those dyno sheets. Be sure to include all of the dyno data. Fuel and air numbers count too. No criticisms or nonsense. Just some straight honest questions. Afterall, your the one touting the 700 number. |

coming back in my sophmore season with more skill and a few tweaks done over the winter. i will b at lake hopatcong as soon as the weather warms and back in toms river for the summer starting memorial weekend.
still looking for some friendly competition, no nonsense guys. i plan to b running at least 85 with a goal of 90 and greater stability at speed when compared to last yr. please, no crap about someone you kno with a 40' cat that runs 150 in 5' swells. be serious guys. my best last yr was 81 with 26" mach and 85 with 28" b1. 3ppl, 3/4 tank and not turning enough rpms with both props. anyone with a 26" b1 give me a shout if interested in selling it or a trade. thanks guys. If you're throwing water conditions out the window... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RhwmnWq6ZY and i can only assume that they will have a hamburger, straight off the grill, waiting on you at the finish line. :party-smiley-004: |

What year hull is that 27???
|
My '94 27 would top out at 83 running a 27" hydo. Motor was a HP465 with a B&M 250 bolted on top. Only other internal mod was a Crane 741 cam. Merc/Gil with silent choice. Rev was touching around 5800. Motor was dynoed just over 600. Been some 10 yrs ago.

See, that is the reason I dont challenge anyone anymore. 100mph toons. How bad would you feel sittiing in a twin 525 or 600 boat and get spanked by one. :lolhit:
