You could probly get a local tow truck to lift them onto your trailer for a few bucks. Most of those guys have some rigging straps or chains they use for recoveries. Not a flat bed tow truck of course. call AAA when your ready to load or a little before. tel them you need a boom truck.

BINGO there is the way to do it.....

take a grinder(cut off wheel) you will find most bolts frozen all you need is acouple of nylon straps ( don't use chain or cable) the tow truck with boom is good idea I called a construction rental place and rented a lift( boom type construction lift peti bone, jcb etc) 2 of us disambled 2 lifts and loaded in a full day
good luck

Yes a wrecker w a extend-able boom will do the trick ...you could always get a guy w a boom truck but the wrecker is the most convenient and inexpensive.

cherry picker actually worked really well, we had quite a load coming home, we could not fit everything on the trailer we had... so I will need to ship the cross members back to Detroit somehow

Thanks again Phil, for checking out the lift & offering us a hand, we had no trouble disassembling, we were in & out in a couple hours, did'nt want to bother you on a weekend
