We all know the risks doesnt need to be pointed out in such a manner.
There is a reason race boats only have 2 seats, limits risk. If 3 guys died last month at high speed with safety professionals on standby what chance would 7 at 150mph have wearing bathing suits?

Nothing wrong with a few extra seats but it seems a misguided mission with big power.

Actually there really isn't a limit too how many can be in a race boat. How do you know this guy isn't a pro. Or maybe he never goes over 45 with people on board. Maybe they all wear lifelines. Thats truly all the racers really have.
If you are on the website it's because you like fast boats. There is very little safe with anything we do.
Saying what you did is just being an ass. You would run that boat like a scalded dog if it was yours

Fundamental physiological difference between running a pleasure boat fast and racing a boat in a competition.

Safe as we can be.

True and that's all we can do. We make the choice to do this and invite others to enjoy it as well. I guess what gets to me is that we are in a sport/hobby even at static we can be hurt. We are in water and are bodies are just not designed for that. So when you couple our natural shortcomings and all this speed there are enormous risks.
With all that said it's just plain not cool to say things like he did abou the people who will be in that boat.
I was hoping he would apologize for the poor taste in words. We all same some stupid shiyat every now and then. That's probably why I dont post much.

Beautiful boat love the colors. I like the new air scoop locations too but they could be bigger.

I was just thinking the same thing. Beautiful boat and awesome engine package. Being able to run on 89 octane with 300 hour rebuild time and 160 plus is fantastic. Did MTI do the paint.
