That boat just oozes class. That's very well done and excellent choices on the engine/drives and colors.

What kind of camera takes a picture of a 38ft. Formula and makes it look like a 24ft. Formula???!

The opposite of a Fountain camera? ;)

It's probably BoilerDaddy. That explains why he doesn't run the cameras at the photo shoots. (Sorry, Scott!)

I read on Boatfreaks that the boat ran today (Monday), but have heard no numbers...

Very nice setup!!

Just a question. Interior and rigging goes out again before deck and hull are glassed together?

I think it's very good for the business that Ilmor is a player in the game now :)

Mange

I don't believe Formula glasses the deck & hull together!

I believe they use a fastning system of every 6-9" and the bonding agent is plexus.. I probably spelt it wrong, but just remember reading about it in one of my older PB mags.

BTW..this boat looks awesome..and I really like the power package.

Mange and Jassman are correct. The interior and hull are rigged and wired (as is the deck) before they are joined together for the sake of access and time. The hull is joined together with Plexus (a chemical bonding agent that basically dissolves and fuses the fiberglass together), the through-bolted every foot or so with 1/4" bolts and backing plates, then screwed together with the rubrail screws.

Some more photos from the new owner:

Thanks for clarifying, Chuck. And you know I've got mad photo skilz!

Scott, all we're really looking for at this point are the numbers once they're done playing with gear ratios, props and drive heights... ;)

Looking to be a very sharp piece. Looking to here how this boat performs with this package.
