I hear new XCAT DW belonging to GB heading for Dubai, same as Hulk but slightly lower . or that`s what i been told . must be fast then .
It is Omar's and headed to Dubai for the X-Cat Series. The Hulk boat is very tall in the canopy because the owner is a tall guy. This boat is a 30 low profile.... because the courses in the X-Cat are not as rough as here in the U.S. I do not think the WPPA... has a mandatory long lap anymore. I.E... outside of the break waters. Thus, a smaller boat with a lower profile should be a good prescription for podiums:drink:. No need to worry it is dog slow and not a threat:cool-smiley-027:! KAP xcat has weight limits based on lenght. the boat, which is a 32 just shortened several inches, allowing it to be classified as a 30 and also allowing it to weigh 200 lbs lighter than normal 32's. it also has the wider tunnel as allowed per xcat rules. and yes the deck is cut down. have too say DW's are probably the best outboard cat to date. cant remember when another builder has dominated here in the states other than when skaters first came out. plus there is always 1 or 2 running up front in Xcat. plus Doug is soon to debute a new pleasure 32 |
