My take, http://speedonthewater.com/commentar...-magazine.html.

May the holidays find you enjoying good cheer with the people you love.

Matt,

Thanks for the commentary and it was spot on. As a former Powerboat subscriber since the early 80's it's sad to see it's demise and the way they handled it was pretty poor to put it mildly. I'm just glad for once I didn't just sign up with thier latest 2-1 offer and was going to send it in this week.

Unfortunately this isn't the first magazine to go away without notice and probably won't be the last.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and safe Holiday Season... Jim

Thanks for that Matt. I will miss the Powerboat style, which is not duplicated at Performance Boats. I like the latter, but it is not the same.

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!

I was a loyal Powerboat subscriber for over 25 years. Then the crap hit the fan. I recently received a renewal offer from the new owners and decided to sit on it for just a bit. Good thing I did because I would have wasted my money.

I can most certainly tell you where my subscription dollars are headed next though. Matt, I'm heading your way!
