I was about to ask about the OL that spun out and sank till I saw the date :D
If I recall it was a 37'Q4 that the new owner decided to turn at 90mph or something like that,I forgot the story since it has been so long ago.

PhantomChaos gave me a lesson about reading dates on posts before I reply :evilb: :drink:

I will call Martin Sanborn with Fountain and see if he will post something (Let's leave the manufacturer preference on the sidelines for this one, please). He is the host of TalkOffshore. He has raced for Fountain and is now employed there as the Director of customer service. In a addition to being a good friend of mine, he is one of the most natural and talented drivers of performance boats. Period. I have been in boats with him and made turns that would require many members of OSO to change their underwear. I mean hard turns at 80-90 MPH+. He has taught me more in the past few years than in 25 years by myself.

I'll call him now and see if he is near a computer.

I would contact Tres Martin. His screen name on this site is "Tres". He has just put together a driving school in the Ft Lauderdale area for running step bottom boats. I think he even said that you would get a discount from the insurance carrier you insure you boat with as well. Try contacting him as he is very knowledgeable as well.
