My wife always reminds me when occasionally I forget to attach the lanyard. All recently built boats have them or you can add one as a winter project. Just WEAR YOUR LANYARD for goodness sake its NOT A BIG DEAL!

Perhaps manufacturers can make one that must be attached before the engine will run...?

That looks like the coast off of Santa Monica heading to Malibu, it would have been chilly, I would have them snuggle on me instead to keep warm and to be as safe as possible of course!

There's nothing smart about what they were doing, but can it be "technically" legal? I know with cruisers that you can ride on the bow if there is railing, is it the same for a powerboat since they have railing around the sunpad, albeit very low profile? Doesn't mean it's not stupid, just wonder if it was legal.
