Is this to good to be true!!

I was looking for a 32 ft cat and this looks like a whole heck of a lot of boat for so cheap. Does anybody have any ideas or information on this boat and engine package. It also lists so much stuff that comes with it, is this to good of a deal to be true?

I believe so. This guy owns it and is a real stand up guy. He is one of the most knowledgable performance boaters out there today. Very successful businessman.

welcome aboard, how long have you been thinking of a cat, that one looks nice.

Hello,
That is my boat that I am selling. I for some reason have come to own 2 of them and times are such that I need to sell one of them. The other one is even crazier with twin 1280 hp motors and a crazy paint job. This one is a totally reliable fast package that when it pulls up it can be the bell of the ball with it's crazy stereo and all the amenities. If anybody has any questions please feel free to ask and I'll try to explain.

Interesting way to get exposure for your boat, but its a bit obvious. No?

brivander 12-30-2011 10:16 PM

This isn't honestly happening, is it?

Sick Stinger 12-30-2011 10:33 PM

Really? Some one needs to get this guy out of the boating community hey can you sell my Rc cat for me? Maybe fix my power wheels? How many users names do you have really?

bauberlen 12-30-2011 10:43 PM

Hey guys I am just selling a boat I am not the first poster if that's what you think.

Wonder why he has XR's and marketing his X-drives in the ad? :bigbird:

bauberlen 12-30-2011 11:43 PM

I am the owner of X Power Drives.

Downtown42 12-30-2011 11:48 PM

Then why don't you run your X-drives on YOUR boat?

X-Rated30 12-31-2011 12:00 AM

I'd vote for that guy. He just has a trustworthy look.

thisistank 12-31-2011 12:33 AM

Not for nothing (besides if this is a ruse to get the listed boat for sale or not)...The SC32 is a pretty phenominal boat. I very much enjoyed my time on board the sister boat to the one listed for sale on this thread.

http://www.powerboatmag.com/tank-sears-blog/

150 is a good price. the 2011 with 725's and Ilmor drives is 299k...So the price is realistic.

And while we're on the subject, there's video floating around of that crazy grey Spectre Bauberlen is talking about.

By the way, those Xpower drives seem to be pretty stout.

bauberlen 12-31-2011 12:42 AM

I do have them on the other 32 spectre, the one in the picture. I use that one as the test boat for the drives. The one for sale I used a little bit to test our bravo drive kits since it's only an Ilmore motor the X Power Drive would have been overkill.

Gotcha, that 2nd one is over the top !! :drink:

Best regards on your X-drives.

This Jim Darr guy is spinning the earth off it's axis. :evilb:

The above picture is supposedly GAY BABY FACE aka: Jim Darr. I stated in "joke form" his professional status, outstanding guy blah blah blah. :lolhit: LOL

Catching the wave of LIES and deceit, I accidentally threw Bill A. under the bus by mistake. Darr was only asking about Bill A. Spectre and I kind of assumed Bill A. was part of his Harry Potter plots.

After quick ck and review of Bill A. background, may I eat my humble pie for New Yrs Eve. Sorry Bill A. ----

you have quite the resume :drink:

Here is Bill A. other Spectre with the X-Drives >>>

Downtown42 12-31-2011 01:40 AM

Road Atlanta ...

The 2nd backflip is Bill A. WOW lucky you were not injured!

The first one is Yannick Dalmas in the Porsche in 1998 and the second one is Bill Auberlen in the BMW in 2000. Both drivers escaped unharmed.

bauberlen 12-31-2011 01:59 AM

Yeah I'm still racing for the factory BMW team for Bobby Rahal in the American Lemans series, and also for the privateer team of Turner motorsport in Grand Am racing. A flip in a car is a cake walk compared to a flip in a boat. Flipping in a boat seems to carry some very bad consequences. If any of you guys know someone that might be interested in that Spectre, it is a really nice boat, and I would love to give anybody a test drive or help out in any way I could. Also I hope everybody has a wonderful and safe new years eve and lets hope for a great 2012 boating season. Can't wait!!

Bill

dreamer 12-31-2011 07:31 AM

Test drive?

Sure

But in the rlr bimmer.... Joey will be to busy with dtm... I'm avail

dicudmore 12-31-2011 10:19 AM

I can tell you from seeing that white 32 in Havasu when a friend of Bill's was running it, it is as advertised. SICK.
The kid driving it was a driver as well, think his name was Matt Fresh or something like that.

bauberlen 12-31-2011 10:38 AM

That's nice that you've seen the boat in action. Yup I originally built it for Matt then it came back home and now I have it. Side note: I am private messaging people all the answers to the questions they have, but one person that I try to message back says you don't accept private messages. Sorry to say it in this message just don't know what else to do because I want to get back to you and help. You might want to change your settings to accept private messages. this is your name Originalronza.

I believe that user no longer exists here...

X-Rated30 12-31-2011 10:51 AM

Bill, that's the douchebag that everyone thought might be the original poster. The Mods banned him and that's why it says he cant get PMs. And I flipped my boat at speed in August. I'd rather do what I did than what you did!:drink:

It's always a shame that the jerkwad jackwagons spoil it for the true enthusiasts of the motorsport forums I frequent.
I've always wondered why the boards won't allow access for IP addresses which have been banned from participation.
Most especially when they can be traced to 6 or 7 different user names.

Bill,
Congrats on your achievements and your boats.
The boat you have listed is well equipped, well priced, and should move quickly. I wish I was sitting on enough coin to take it off your hands without financing.

See ya,
Kelly

Said jackwagon is very good at IP skipping and has had several at his disposal in the past. If someone really wants to keep coming back they usually can, until their decidedly warped agenda begins to show through for the umpteenth time.

bauberlen 12-31-2011 12:06 PM

Sorry, you guys are way to advanced for with with ip addresses and all that. I'm just lucky I have managed to learn how to post pictures. All I know is all of us have one thing in common and that is we love to boat and love the water.. I can't wait for summer to arrive and hopefully we can all hang out and have a beer together.

If the engines run good, the boat is a steal... Beautiful job Bauberlen, also with the other one. Have watched all the videos on Youtube. Love the boat.

Are you planning Road America next season?

bauberlen 12-31-2011 08:38 PM

Wow Chuck. What is he up to, I miss him at the race track make sure you tell him I said hello.. As far as the Road America race, BMW has announced it will return to the American LeMans series for 2012 to campaign in GT with the M-3. As for the drivers that will race the car that hasn't been announced yet but I know one guy that has been resigned for 2012 I just can't say. As far as the nice compliments from Frisini Motors. All I can say is your boats have brought me so much fun and I am thankful for the great work you do. If I can ever help with promo stuff or if you ever need the crazy boat for stuff let me know. It has a lot of stuff that we use in our current race cars that doesn't exist yet in the boating world which makes it kind of interesting.. See you all in Road America!

What's a Frisini Yacht?? I thought Frisini was trying to build power boats - When did they start building "Yachts"? Are we going to see these "Yachts" at the Miami Boat Show? If so where and what Booth #?

bauberlen 01-02-2012 08:43 PM

Did I say yachts? I didn't think I did. But they do build nice boats?

Thanks. A guy that never painted a boat before did the job. He is a guy in Lancaster Calif, and he is called Little designs. He painted all my motorcycles and was amazing. Upside is he was really inexpensive (because he had no idea what he was getting himself into). Downside was it took a long time. I guess if you have time to spare he is the guy. He is very creative. I will post a few pics showing the detail better.
