30's or 32's

Hey guys wanted to get some opinions!!

I have twin 553's naturally aspired engines currently running 30's @ 5700-5800rpm. I was thinking of running 32's to get better cruise speed and top end with lower rpms @5200rpm the differenece in hp is around 30hp less @ 5200rpm.

Are you running 4 or 5 blade? If 4 blade, you should give 5 blades a try. Something like the Maximus. Post this in the Prop section and see what Bblades have to say.

They are 4 blades, don't want to run 5 blades, makes for more drive issues

Not sure if this helps, but I was running 28p 4 blade hydos on my cig running 81 at 5300 with 500efis. I went to labbed 31p 4blade bravos with some cup and run same top end at 5000 and get on plane better and picked up a few mph at cruise.

It's all about torque ! I'm sure the 32's will put you closer to where you want to be with out any performance loss . I would even try a pair of 34's for cruising . just my .02

any other opinions? Also running 32's won't it load the engine more?
