because you must love the sun, water, loud engines, and bikinis with the option of a icy cold beverage and hopefully no idiots around you for the entire day :drink:

06 Trailblazer SS 8040 miles. Tune and intake only. Ran consistent 13.5@ 102. Best of 13.1@ 104. Rwd #6 connection rod bolts were known to back out. Video is 3rd run of the night with drag radials. Really needed a converter..ie ran much better on stocks.
Last video is all 3 runs of the night from rear camera and friend in the stands.. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...S/Image038.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...6252007029.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...0SS/oilpan.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...th_BlownSS.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...ay4th_0002.jpg |

I don't have any busted motor pics yet (Thank God!). 10 years of boating and nothing major has gone wrong (knocking on everything around me). Our biggest repair was a gimble housing on a TRS outdrive, when parts were hard to get about 7-8 years ago. Back then Ebay wasn't really that popular, I wasn't on here, and there were too many TRS drives still in service to find cheap, good used parts. I think the repair was something like $14k with both drives rebuilt, both bearings replaced, a brand new housing from Merc (I think that alone was around $4k), and everything put back together. The ***** is the boat was only worth about $14k (1983 377 Scarab). Probably should have parted that one out and started over. I do have some ridiculous pics of idiots pulling up their anchors in a storm and crashing into me. I think they're already in the Insurance and Finance section. I had three idiots hit me in one day! |

+2 the shovel seemed a little unnecessary, unless you were really pissed off. Then it's totally justified!

Great Thread,
Having experienced most of these conditions is just one more reason I've decided to go to Verado's with 5 years of Warranty. |

I have to hear the story behind this. You can't put something like that out there and not share. Let's hear it! :D By the way, that's one hell of an inventive trailer setup. |
