3 months away. Any word on who's running this year?

NO RACE TO BIMINI THIS YEAR !!!


The Miami to Bimini RACE will NOT be happening in 2012.

Without enough support for the event the event just cannot take place.

Brad & Larry did their best in hopes the event would eventually grow, but they haven't been able to sustain enough support to continue on with the event.






POKER RUN :

For members in the North East, the New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club has been holding their Atlantic City Poker Run on this weekend in June for well over the last 7 years.

That's a shame. I really enjoyed following it.

Sorry to hear of the run not happening this year. Both Larry and Brad worked hard to keep this alive for the past few years.

For anyone interested in running open ocean waters, HORBA and NPBA will be putting on the New York Speed Festival on the weekend of Sept 21 to 23rd, 2012.

Hall of Fame inductees on the Friday evening of Sept 21, 2012.

Saturday, Sept 22, 2012.....Don Aronow Memorial Around Long Island Race, 271 miles total. Entry fee $600 until the end of March. Existing record 3hours 5 minutes.

And

Starting at the same time, same date, the Bill Wishnick Memorial Trophy Dash that will run from Port Washington to Orient Point 100 miles total. Entry fee $300 until the end of March.
