Shane's wife in for surgery
 

Tomorrow morning Shane's wife Kristen is going in for surgery. :( I don't want to disclose what for, but it could be serious. If things go bad Shane has to make a serious decision on what to do on her behalf.

I met Shane and Kristen through this web site a year and a half ago. In that time we have become very close friends if not closest of friends. Even though we live 2 hours away there is to many occasions that we went out of the way for each other to remember, but neither one of us is keeping track. There are very few people in this world that would take the time to do that for each other and expect nothing in return.

Kristen is a very special person, Just for the fact that she puts up with Shane makes her a truly amazing, He's very lucky to have her. She spends most of he time working with children of special need. (Kind of like Shane but younger :p LOL) Kristen has a great personality and sense of humor. The best is when she makes fun of Shane. :D :p LOL. There are not many people in the world that are as down to earth as she is.

Like I said before they are both very close to us and I wouldn't want anything to happen to either one of them. And it saddens us to know of this unfortunate situation

WOW! What can I say? You guys and gals are the best! I just got home from the hospital and all went VERY WELL! They are sending one item out for varification but the doc says nothing to worry about just wants to be 100% certain.:D

I cannot thank you enough for all the well wishes. They are VERY much appreciated. She will even be home tonight!:)

Funny thing happened this morning. I found ot she is a sometime lurker!:o :eek: She came to me after she read the thread! Never thought I would see her checking out OSO! Good thing I took all the stuff about the stripp.....oops off huh?:p

HotBoat is right. To find someone to put up with me is not an easy task and I am lucky to have her. Thanks again everyone we BOTH appreciate your love and support.

Hey Shane I knowwere there is a cabin in Maine for the whole week of the 4th of July. I will be up there but my girlfriend has to go to school and can not make it!!!! :( :( Anyhow if you and the wife want to head up to Maine for a bit and do some boating up there with us you are more then welcome. Maine has amazing healing powers :D:D Anyhow the offer is there let me know if you want to use the place for a while. This is up in Naples by Kurt aka Biggus's stomping grounds.

audiofn, not to run down Maine at all but I can't imagine a better place to recuperate than Shane's place on Lake George. It is absolutely fantastic.
