Apache 47' going up for auction.

I have not been logged into OSO since posting the auction.
FYI. The main purpose of the lien action is to get a clean title for the boat. The boat was abandoned at my shop 7 or so years ago.
A mechanics lien and the auction is the proper legal action needed to get this done.
The boat is actually not in bad condition structurally. Yes, paint, interior and rigging is needed, but that is what we do at Turbine Marine Inc. If no one picks up the hull at the auction, I have a set of 1800Hp Turbines and ASD 8 going in the boat.
This will be a nice little play toy.
The lines on the 47' has always been a favorite of mine, and would not mind having one in my collection.

I think they did a nice job with it. I assume any of the structural issues were fixed. If they were fixed properly, there's no reason it couldn't run again. That boat was a Kevlar 36'. After all, Kid Apache had the side blown out years ago and that's still running.
Yep, that's the one.

Yep, that's the one.

Here's my take on buying powerboats with prior serious issues. If the powerboat is represented honestly, and all concerns are answered to your satisfaction. By all means, if so inclined, have at it. And that's that.

Yep.. they are Arnesons..strongest and most reliable drive out there..they are figures at 65% of rated hp...next size up would be a safer bet..but if the man has 8's in his shop, might as well use them. Jeff
