The PSI can be verified with a scanner. Got smartcraft? It's a worthwhile investment. My 525 seems to peg my guage at speed.

Great folks to deal with! If no reading at all I would guess clogged, pinched, kinked, or leaking sender lines- My water pressure always reads low but temps stay good so don't worry too much on that one.

The closed cooled 525 likes higher pressure. The manual says 43 psi is the max. I often run around 40 psi.

Wink

This post is too easy to answer. Obviously the engines are getting and developing enough water pressure to run correctly and not set of "guardian" if the water pressure was low or non-existant.
The guages could be electrical type or direct pressure tube, you did not indicate?

In any event you are buying a boat from a builder who does the rigging, so let them fix it as well as anything else that needs fixing and hold taking delivery and final payment until these items are taken care of.- simple!
