How many miles can someone walk in one day ??

If he walks 10 hrs/day should take almost 100 days to make it.

Quick google avg says 17-20 min per mile.

my cousin troy was the one who walked for money for troops it took him along time to do his walk

if your buddy is along my ways he has a place to stay im kinda off the beatin path for him id imagine.. is he coming through kentucky anywhere

Bored tonight so I googled the route

Shows 3416 miles and 2 days, 7hrs driving time.

Walking shows 3327 miles and 45 days 2 hrs straight thru.



About 108 days walking 10 hrs per day @ 3mph.

Gotcha but the man is going to talk at schools and churches etc.

That is the object of all this.

Doesnt that sort of cut everything in half.

It looks to me that he could be giving up 3/4 of a year of his life for this adventure.

Big commitment.
