I'm a big fan of the Y2K Superboat and also the Rage/Activator. I like simplistic, uncluttered hot rods.
How would you compare the pluses and minuses of these two? I usually only see Superboats with 525 power or smaller. Are there any with power in the 700-800hp range and what do they run? |
Why hasn't anyone mentioned Donzi?

Warlock in big water. We run 80+ in 2ft seas. It has a pad so nice soft landing. Of course I am biased but I have owned lots others and hold onto this boat. Only negative is the build quality is so so. We updated a lot of things. This is kind of standard in this size boat. New equals would be the vendetta. But the are like 200k.

Find yourself an old school Team Warlock 28 "World Class Offshore" from about 1987 to about 1994-1995. 24 Degree deadrise and divinycell core. You would be out the door for $30k or less and have a great rough water boat. Try and find a single if you can, they came both twins and single.

Pantera, Powerplay, Saber, Active Thunder, Activator, Laveycraft, Joker, Sutphen are all worth looking at. Pick your particular flavor, most important is to have what you like and want.
