Our boat is in the shop getting all kind of upgrades (pics will be posted in a couple of weeks), so I decided to take some time to build a display cabinet for our main sponsor, St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to use around the hospital. It is currently in the mammography department, but the plan is to move it around to the different lobbies, and different areas of the hospital. When they take it to Pediatrics, it is our plan to visit with our uniforms on, and hand out some giveaway items to the kids that are stuck there.
I am working on figuring out a way to get the "lifesize" boat to Desert Storm. Maybe we will see some of you there.

The pics on the left are different ones of the boat, and Junior in his uniform. The article in the middle is about why we did what we did with this boat. My mom is a breast cancer survivor. The pink beads under the boat is what we hand out wherever we go. The size of a single bead is about the size of a lump when it can first be felt with self examination. Todays mammography equipment can detect stuff as small as the strings that the beads are on. To the right is from one of our "Mammograms Saves Lives" t-shirts. The whole display was a suprise to them, and they weer very, very, happy with it.

I had really intended on the boat racing this year, but the whole liability thing kind of has me questioning whether I want to or not. It was the two OSS Races at Lake of the Ozarks a few years back that started the bug of wanting to own a boat like this. We have alot of fun with it doing events both on the water and on the trailer. That said, never count it out, as I would love to have the exposure for our cause.
