Thanks for the hospitality,my friends enjoyed the show the boat was hot.Tuft job Madison In. to Marathon in less than 24hrs[1st place F2,congrates].You should have taken the boat back to Louisville with us ,45 minutes vs 1.5 hrs by car.May make the Regatta this year ,will look you up Chuck said he's going for sure.It's a fun time in Madison the town will be full with fokes from Louisville. I lived in Madison
After I got out of electronics school I took a job in Madison.
Bought my first boat and lived two blocks from the river. Rented a furnished one room apartment for $25 a week and that included the power bill
.
Very nice water around the Madison area.

Hi Dixie Doug,
Glad you and your Friends could make it up to Madison on Saturday. If I didn't have to return that rental car to the airport I would have sure enjoyed a ride back to Louisville in your Fountain.
The team got the gearbox apart about 8 PM that evening and found an output bearing had fried itself. It's all back together and ready to race in Evansville IN the weekend after this.
If you can make it up to Madison or down to Evansville, just look me up and we'll do our best to get you into the pits. Friday and Saturdays are testing & qualifying with the first set of heats on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Angels will be joining us at Evansville. At Madison we will be joined by the Vintage category which includes Hydros that raced from the early part of the century up to the early 80's.
