You know better than to ask me that Later. They belong to the middle son. He thinks the office is his storage room.

To much. Takes 8 hours spread over two days that's with a 90" mower on the back of the big tractor. If the middle son helps me we can get it done in 4 hours cutting 15 feet at a time. It got to hot one summer so I decide a I needed a air condition cab with a stero so I could drink beer in comfort.

Its nice to have your own shop/toybox. Only problem is looking at the toys all damn day at work! First pic is my boat/sled storage area, I have a loading dock on the other side of the wall with my truck and old Vette in it.

Guess I need to update my pics...the truck is now an 09 Ram 2500 Cummins, and the SRX and XP are gone, replaced with a 2010 Vector and 2010 Ski Doo 1200 XR....

Yes its bigger than the house heh heh.....removed 36 truck loads of dirt out of that hillside to get it in there.
my wifes car and Iroc go on one side, boat in the middle, race car project on other side of plastic.....plastic keeps all the dust and sh*t contained. There's a tv, fridge everything in there.....thats where I hang.

rivermonkey 02-06-2012 09:19 PM

This is kinda depressing......my garage is a 14x24 shell, I have so much stuff that my trans am doesn't even fit inside ( let alone the boat)! To add insult to injury, the garage is on my parents property 15mins away:(

Just finished a remodel in part of my shop so the guys have an area other than the office to hang out in (after hours). Also added a keg cooler next to the dyno cell so I could eliminate the morning bottle clean up.

Not quite as nice as most on here, but it does keep the toys dry and secure.Attachment 467261

I need to get better pictures.

502ss 02-07-2012 04:05 PM

My current garage is 45' wide but only 22' deep and the ceilings are barely 8' inside. It holds my dually and my jet boat but as you can see the scarab doesn't quite fit!!

I hope to break ground on the addition this spring. The new bay on the back of the building will be 45' deep and 16' wide with 14' ceilings! Can't wait!! :D

Because our winter was so mild, we were able to get this building finished on our new farm in s. WI. The structure was actually finished before first frost; the electrical, plumbing, and heating took a little longer (doesn't it always work that way?)
This shop will be the largest of what we'll build here, but most likely not the only. This pic taken right before the main 16x14 door went up.
I really won't classify this building as finished until it houses an offshore boat; something we hope to get back into once all the moving craziness stops.
Worldwide 40x70x14.

It's a Walters Building. The concrete guy suggested the drain and I'm glad he did. Works great.
