I've wondered if a "fractional" ownership program would work for boats. Obviously, the owners would have to be in the same area. And once the owners bought into the program they could up or down grade boats to meet their needs that weekend (ski boat, fishing boat, perf. boat, etc).

they already offer fractional boat ownership. You buy the hours you want to use. Lots of clubs/ programs for cruisers, ski, go semi-fast

When I blow up an engine on the water... Slow way back to the beer tent.

If the engine blows up in a plane.. Fast way back to St-Peter's tent...
