I've used Polk speakers and amps in my last two boats, so I'm very happy with their products. Never compared to other speakers so I couldn't tell you which sound the best. I guess it comes down to what sounds good to your ear and your budget.

2 pair of kicker 6.5s and a 10 inch kicker sub. sounds amazing and was easy on the wallet!

We have ran MB Quartz for several years and really enjoy them, last I know they were bought out by Rockford.
