i fully agree and i have never been a fountain cheerleader at all but, if we are going to talk about the fastest v we all know who holds that record and until someone betters it the record belongs to Reggie. Mike is working hard to bring new things to the table and that is great I would be proud to own one.

im no expert, but i think the record holding fountain is a Skater laid up boat.... none the less, i think if OL had the time to make videos and sponsor some sort of sanctioned event, a few, (not just one) of their new V's, laid up by OL, the same way they sell them to the public, would smoke the thin laid up, ready to explode, particall board, skater (or fountain, see the thread about how thin the record holding boat is), might suprise us!!

i owned an X fountain race boat, and my old man won the worlds in 04 in an OL, that same OL still looks like it never raced, my fountain, and most fountain race boats, look spider cracked and ready to fall apart at a strong wind storm after racing... Reggie built them fast, maybe faster then most, but what he proved on the race course didnt match what he sold to the public, OL does
