Default Just something to bring out a little gel coat shine?

My boat has been stored indoors its entire life so its not in bad shape at all I just want to use a nice polsih to bring out the shine before I wax it? I do all my work by hand 100% so any suggestions on a good polish to rub on and buff off?

if you just have light haze to remove give Totally Buff a try its a real nice self cleaning product. Goes on and off like a breeze with a wool pad.

I have always used a 3-M product, it is a cleaner, glaze product.
Gives a deep clean (excellent for removing transom soot) and leaves a nice finish like a wax.
Can't recall the exact product name at this point, I'll have to check when I get home.

keep in mind Totally works best with wool, not sure about the 3M stuff havnt used it in years. I like it mostly because clean up is so easy. I have done forty footers with it and not spurred the pad a single time. Its a diminishing product that breaks down into a fine polish as you work it. Dont be afraid to work it with some pressure and get the surface warmed up with it.

I have been stuck on Fountain of Youth stuff for a while now, I do like the waxes from Hula though Hang Ten in particular for a cleaner wax.

I have used the Meguiar's Three Step System for the past several years with Outstanding results. Actually designed for some oxidation, I used it on a new, garage kept boat and the gel coat just got better and better to the point that others comment on the finish...

Three steps is truly the secret to a great shine...Strip, Polish, Wax.

I will work the heat up with my hands I don't have a buffer. I may invest in one some day but for now I prefer the hand method.

Keep in mind Finesse has very little cut to it. It's purpose is to take that last little bit of dullness out from a more aggressive compound to give the paint or gel its final finish. It will not work on gel that is heavily oxidated.
