This seems to be a recurring theme around here regarding National Liquidators. I can't say I've ever heard anything good about them, ever.

used to know someone who could go there in FLA, and buy them straight out, no auction, no nothing... That also told me more about my ''bid'' I used to do...

I think it is simply a retail business, using the theme ''auction'' so people think they are always going to be cheaper...

some boats are listed on their site for so long, can't belive they never went thru an auction....

going in FLA in march, and was planning to stop by to see if it looks like an auction, or a retail business...

Same here, bought a boat from them back in 96', had no trouble then, but lately, it's been crazy trying to business with them. Bought a trailer off their lot from the owner who lost the boat to repo, that was sitting on the trailer, and the owner owned the trailer outright. TOM FTM inspected the trailer for me, and he brought back up from NML Ft. L yard, BUT not before they hit me up for $220 in "NEW" storage fees!

TOM FTM, thanks again for your help buddy.

With banked own I would think they can play around. A U.S. Marshal's auction should be just that.

Gino I'm sure you wanted the boat, but at least they didn't screw you out of money.
Every time I hear someone mention that place I think of your old boat. That was always fishy to me. She just disappeared out the back door never to be seen again.

Does the US government (US Marshall's) sell confiscated goods through auction houses? Don't they hold their own auctions? They used to sell that way I think.
