I bought a velocity 260 to do similar multi day tips but once my woman saw the added room and seperate head of a baja 322 I switched boats. Props to your wife

Fantastic adventure. The lady and I were just talking about how we missed two years ago, where we went out on overnight trips quite a bit. Your Sonic looks to have a much bigger cabin than my 22' POS, but we had a great time. The PP sucks, but we got by. I learned that the Folgers coffee bags with hot water heated on the Magma grill were great. The battery operated makers just plain don't work, too much juice required.
I hope this summer if I still have a boat, we can do some real excursions. It's a better vaca than the hotels for sure. Even 20 miles away from home is a rest when spending the night aboard.
I think more people would do this kind of boating if they had 25-28 footers with reasonable cabins with enclosed heads. I find it amazing that 22' bowriders have enclosed heads, but cabins have PP's.
Would prefer the outboards as well.
