I could live with it sans the Octo*****/Xanadu abstract and the yellow plexi. The yellow plexi looks like someone peed all over the cockpit and it dried in the sunlight.

Here's the problem. If you go to http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/boa/4523985988.html and look at all of the pictures, the port side is a little wild for my taste but not the worst I have seen. Now when you get to the starboard side and transom that is where the painter went off his rocker to put it mildly.

If it is your boat and you like what the painter did, that's all that really matters. It is/was your boat. However, it certainly will take a while to find the right buyer to get it sold. Good luck with the sale.

It is my boat. I knew when I painted it that it would not be everyone's cup of tea. I tell people at the shop when they are thinking of a custom paint job that 50% of the people are going to like it and 50% of the people are going to hate. Are there things I liked about when I did it and now I don't like sure there are. I guess that's what you get when you are young drinking beer and working late painting a boat. I know the sale will take time because it is going to take a certain individual to buy something like that. All I know is if it does sell that I hope the new owner has had as much fun on it as I have and has met as many good people in the boating community as I have

There are cars, planes, and trucks that all have that "special" custom touch.

This Avanti is my all time favorite......tribal on the sides, a dead looking topless mermaid on the bow with dolphins, and then to top it off they made it into the family truckster with the camper top!
