Women DEFINITELY prefer the open bow.
I was looking at 30-36' Spectres for the next boat, got vetoed by mine/friends wives, started looking at 28' catdecks (conquest, Howard, magic), got vetoed due to rough ride, started looking at mid-cabin open-bows (Sunny 288), got vetoed due to going through cabin to get to the front, and ended up with a Baja 292 Islander (open bow with half cabin on starboard side). The bright side is that it'll be easier to anchor and put the fenders out.
Women get what they want even if they're not paying.

Lol there's a method to the my madness. I still want a cat and she knows it. We like doing poker runs and I told her I wouldn't mind a little Skater to play with. She got on powerboatlistings.com and was showing me 21-28' Skaters she liked. Make her happy first then its my turn

I can't understand why anyone would want to ride in the roughest part of the boat??? Put me behind the wheel or in the rear with the gear....and the cooler.
