Maryland to limit boat gatherings

I remember the days back in NJ where they'd be waiting for you at the dock when you got back so they could pull all the fish out of your cooler and check for lenght and amount. You couldn't filet the fish until you got back to the dock. God forbid your flook shrunk a 1/2" from sitting on ice for a couple hours... then there was the USCG Aux, State Police and USCG who would wait at the ramp to give out "safety inspections".. The USCG was cool if you said no to them but the state police you couldn't say "not right now."
I got pulled over a few times but the USCG and all they wanted to do was say hello and see the boat but the NJ State Police wanted to burn someone... They were probably pissed off cause they had to wear those navy blue long-sleeve and pants all day long!

Logic just don't work in this state at all.
We have 5 of the richest counties in the country and after many tax increases and them admitting that we have had a light recession due to all the Gov work the budget for the 4th year in a row is short. Now how is that logical?

It is pretty sad when a state admits they don't have enough money for law enforcement as justification to limit peaceful assembly. Socialism in the works for sure.

I am a third generation Californian whose great grand parents came here to farm and prosper.
You can absolutely bet the farm that I DO NOT or have NEVER supported or voted for the the Liberal crazy socialistic politicians who along with their Blue supporters and enviromentalists have pretty much ruined this state. If you states that think you are solidly red are safe from this creeping liberal socialism-beware its all around you and its more dangerous than most any enemy you have ever faced!
PS Also be careful how many law degrees your state allows, this will be a big problem in your fututre! Thousand dollar Frisbee fines will be the least of your problems!
Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

Maryland is a great place to boat. It is not heavily ragulated, as far as I know. We dont have speed limits and sound ordinances like I read about in all these other places. Very few Police and regulations to deal with. At least where I am familiar with boating on the Potomac, Patuxent and lower Chesapeake.
by politicians bashing politicians So I guess you guys think everyone in this state is "blue" including this Col. George F. Johnson IV, the superin*tendent of the Maryland Natural Re*sources Police. If he is, I guess you have a leg to stand on. Its just bothering me that Maryland boating is being bashed by people who dont even boat here just so they can toot their "red" horn. or their "blue" horn.

Sorry My Addiction I was not trying to hijack the thread or bash Maryland, its a great state! Just warning that these types of regulation and control kinda sneak up on you and some times its to late before people can affect the outcomes and protect their freedoms in the future.
