I've been trying to get a hold of this builder for the past couple of days and Im unable to reach him... getting kinda frustrated. I have this list of questions for him about this motor which i think i should know about and hes not being too responsive. I'm just going to go up to his shop tonight or tomorrow and go from there.

I know i dont know much about engines but dont you think i should still know whats being done or what the details are? Compression, heads, pistons, crank, cam, etc....

Not a good sign.
Go see him.
He probably gets 100 phone calls a day from wannabe customers asking for details they will never need.
If he cant make the time to see you them forget about him.

Heres some free advice- dont change anything, put in what you had before and be done with it. You dont have the drive, the steering, or the cooling to really go up in power without headaches.
