Event Dates:*March 30 - April 1, 2012*Departure:*Official staging/launching marinaLoggerhead Marina, St. Petersburg.Distance:*Approx 100 miles - All checkpoints in the bay.
Dockage
Vinoy Renaissance Marina:*All slips are blocked for the Poker Run and available only through FPC: $2.50 per foot per night.
Accommodations
Vinoy Renaissance Resort & Golf Club.*Hotel SOLD OUT. Remaining rooms are available through FPC: $249/night
Activities
Friday:*Lunch Fun Run, Noon - 3pmFriday Night:*Check-in, 6-8pm. Captains' Meeting, 8pm, on the Vinoy Resort TerraceSaturday Poker Run:*Bay waters, 10am to 4pm.*Saturday Night:*Poker Run Party, 8pm to 11pm, Location: TBA.Sunday:*The award winning*Festivals of Speed*in Straub Park. I've never done one of these runs, is a 100 mile course about the normal distance? Are there usually fuel stops for us lil boats?
Should be a great weekend to be on the water! Last weekend had identical forecast and it was gorgeous other than a little windy..
