We spend a lot of time in Turtle Creek, it’s the cove just to the right of Party Cove (same no wake zone). If I’m in Party Cove on a holiday weekend, I’m probably in my Skeeter bass boat due to the idiots with the water balloons. I’m a little more tolerant to idiots in that boat…

No Cigs in the group(s) but there is an occasional Nordic. We move around the lake quite a bit. The Party Cove group consists of (3) Active Thunders from 28’ to 33’, a 31’ Sonic, 33’ Viper & a Monterey cruiser. The Dam group is (5) Baja’s ranging from 24’ to 29’, a Formula and an Eliminator cat. The Turtle Creek Gang consists of Crownlines, FourWinns, pontoons, etc.

Back to the original topic. I really don’t see a lot of Sausage Fests at Raystown and people just typically don’t raft up with strangers here anyways. I know that I wouldn’t allow just anyone to tie up anyways… Way to picky for that…

I could however bend my rules for a “Sausageless Fest” should the opportunity arise…

How do you handle the bunch of already drunk dudes that try rafting their ****ty aluminum pontoons and then get offended when they get turned away?
I have a strict no pontoon (aka when full of dudes, boner barge) or rental boat rule. It is amazing the difference a boat owner tying up compared to a boat renter. It's nice when I don't have to be the only one checking bumpers while everyone else has fun.

If I see one of these, I just say sorry guys we have a friend coming. Sometimes they get pissed but most people shrug it off.

Now that you mention it, those rental houseboats usually look like drunken sausage fests!

We prefer the quite also that’s why we are usually in the next cove over. I’ll flag you down some day. And yes – the Eliminator is John.

Me too... Screw 'em.

I had a group tie up next me of wasted 40 somethings, fat, and talking trash about the 2X year old females on my boat... This amazon looking woman asked me if I can "do something" about the "behavior" of the girls on my boat (and they weren't even strippers... this time!... They weren't really even doing anything, just dancing, and not even in a slutty manner). I told her that I'd take care of it right now... Untied them and said see ya...

The funny part was my cousin Scott was on their boat smoking (no cigs on my boat) and trying to get a Bj... I warned him while I was untying everything, and left his ass to drift away. He had to swim back to my boat. Ahhh... Jobbienooner 2006... Good times!

i agree ! we will run into a few every year on the sandbar that i cant handle. when that happens i just pick up and move or move to another one. we have a few spots we do raft at.

let a guy tie up one time i knew. his dad had a donzi and 40' seaeay sundance. thought he knew how the rules worked but was way wrong. his crew gumped into my boat spilled drinks and smoking. so i untied them pushed them off , kicked the ones on my boat off and made them swim to there drifting boat. soome of the D bags wanted to fight at that point. who would have though! so new rules if there any were near my age no rafting off, and if there in dads boat no rafting off.
