oil leaking

Default oil leaking

I have two 540 merlins 650 hp. the breathers on the valve covers leak oil around the rubber o ring gasket I have put sealer around it but still have leaks.any help would be great.

It would be nice to have a picture of your breathers. If they are the push in type with the outer, underneath edge open with a series of small holes, then that is your problem. You need to used the closed ones that have the tube coming out at a 45* that you connect a hose to, and that hose goes up to the flame arrester .
