I've hit 2 birds at 65-75 mph in bass boats. One hit the bow right at the tip and luckily went under the boat while we were only hit with feathers. The other came across the passenger side of the boat. Unfortunately, since we were fishing, we had several rods on that side, reels down-hooks up. Damn bird hit all those hooks and got hung up. I was in the passenger seat with a bird flying like a flag a foot from my head! I grabbed the rod from flying out and after a few seconds the bird tore away from the hooks in the wind......what a mess!!!!
BTW: My dad hit the back end of a yellow jacket at 85 right in the throat......though he had been shot.

This isn't a "real" bass boat but a single seat Allison that is built for speed.
