I enjoy seeing the cartoon themed MTIs and other expensive paint jobs. Even the Ice Cream Fountain, if the owner owned an ice cream store, is OK with me. Some paint schemes simply go out of style and that must suck for the boaters who paid thousands of $ for custom paint. It's just the truly tasteless paint jobs and the flea market air brush jobs that look terrible to me. You are always safe with solid white or mostly white though.

Well here's my 292 at the factory before any paint. Definitely looks clean all white.
I think the paint pattern we went with is somewhat understated, although maybe not the colors. The final choice had to satisfy not only me, but also the boss (wife). I think the compromise worked out pretty well... |
