Condolences to the family..... Rest in peace

Rip, so sorry to hear about this, godspeed guys.

I do know David installed upgraded engine on the boat and they were running it to get it ready for the season. After something was not right they brought it back to the port and did some work, according to what I was told. After they did some work on it they took it back out through one of the canals that goes to the Vermillion Bay. From there it is unknown exactly what happened. I know they crashed and the boat caught fire.

Its said because Sandy invited my wife and I to have dinner with them Friday night. I wish I could of made it!

Very sorry to hear this. RIP the both of them and I hope that their families find the strength to get through this sad time.
