So my recomendation for your issue is this: It sounds like a lean pop. Those are no big deal, lean is mean. The harder you run it, the more it will just begin to sort things out itself. Lean is best, that way you get great power on little gas. |

Usually when I get that lean pop, I immediately stab the throttle to the dash a hold it. This way whatever is in there cleans itself out.
Since this is a blower application, be sure to run 3/16" fuel line from tank to carbs!! |

lean pop usually means $$$$$$$$$$$ Mine did that and all it ended being was rust on the pick ups in the msd distributors. Cleaned them up and everything was ok. Lean pop on dialing in a engine is not a good sign. Mine was locked out a 30 degrees as well. Good luck!

Anoter time was just tryin to get on plane then after getting on plane. I set the timming at 30 degrees and locked it. It pinged as i just started to make boost so i backed the timing off. The valves are set at .018 thousanths on the intake and exhaust any help much appriciated.
