Towed my 33 with 2 different 1/2tons. Absolutely fine, no issues. Well balanced trailer and the ground is pretty flat here.

I'd be all over this if my boat was sold.

Just looked at that exact ad the other day. Also fits the bill for what I looking for but my money is tied up in courts or else I would click ” buy now” after a proper survey. That boat is beautiful.

On topic.....I am in the same postion as you and like most said anything 29' or under with a single is where you will be looking for the most part. I have an AWD Escalade and just won't part with it to get a bigger boat.

anything under 30ft should be fine if you have a newer half ton. Have and EB and tow a 29ft twin fountain. Now I wouldnt load the truck up with 4 people and 2000lbs of gear and expect it to be safe. Boats that come to mind are 27 fountain, 25 bajas, power quest, formula

my 28 single pantera towed like a dream with a half ton. 09 gmc z71... the twin is a little heavier and would perfer it behind my 2500hd vs a 1500. my trailer is only a twin axle tho. would do way better with a triple axle trailer

I would figur on my truck being able to tow right around 8500 lbs acording to what i have found on the internet it handle up to 9000 and 95% of the time i will ge towing the boat 6 miles to the river about 3 miles away. I forgot to mention that sometimes when i drink alot a little voice in my head speaks to me........ it says " just get a CC , it will cost alot less to operate and do everything you want to do" am i the only one that happens to.

Donzi 27ZX or 28ZX (same hull, different top)

Donzi 22 classic

27 Fountain

a ton of others...

You need to decide what you want a bit more. Top end, handling, reliability, range, interior space, etc.

The boats listed above display a wide range of towable boats but are very different from each other. The 22 is a fun fun fun drivers boat. easiest to tow of the group. it's a sit down boat though with little interior space and no cabin so it may not fit your needs. The others you get into step bottom boats which changes the handling etc.
