I checked with my blow boating friends. (Yes, I do have friends.) They informed me that it's more like "a blistering 5 knots."

ahh . . . my bad . . . i'm sure it makes a difference :D

I have two inherent dislikes about sailboats. One . . . . can be timed be with a calender on a race course. And two . . . requires the weather to be sh!tty for it to function properly.

Those 2 stories don't add up.
The 1st one shows the railing and mast only thing exposed, leading us to believe the rest of the boat is buried beneath the sand.

The 2nd story shows the boat with the railing and mast missing, with the boat busted up.

My guess is it looks like someone took the railing and mast and stuck them in the ground.

must of been pretty good running start to get that far up on the beach:rolleyes:

I bet those sea tow guys could have towed it and sunk it faster than the sands...jus sayin :D

bulletbob 04-20-2012 05:44 AM

I would pay money to see what the clowns from the recovery and promt sinking of the CC could do with this!! A blistering 5 knots! Thats funny chit!!

Yea, I noticed that too.
That rope looks like it was just thrown on the ground rather than wind and water whipped. Also the landing pics show the boat sideways on the beach and the dressed up pick has the bow straight in. ?????????????

Unfortunately, that's probably the most accurate story. If you look here, you'll see pictures of the ship in it's latest state (if there's anything left). And it's not sunken, so someone probably just made it look that way.
