I checked with my blow boating friends. (Yes, I do have friends.) They informed me that it's more like "a blistering 5 knots."

ahh . . . my bad . . . i'm sure it makes a difference

I have two inherent dislikes about sailboats. One . . . . can be timed be with a calender on a race course. And two . . . requires the weather to be sh!tty for it to function properly.

"blistering 5 knots"

So what is speed at two or three digits called for blow boaters, other than impossible?
