Mr. Bill, funny you should mention Kevin. I am in the truck now headed back home and I planned on getting the word out about Kevin. I meet him over the years at your run. This yr I ran into electrical issues and he basically drove me around to get batts, and C-breakers for my starters after the electrical issues. I wanted to make sure he knew we really appreciated his help and without him we would have sat at the dock all weekend. THANKS KEVIN!!! Mr. Bill if he is not on offshore, please let him know we said thanks alot.... See you guys next yr, lets get the attendance back up somehow...

Just got off the phone with Kevin and told him to read this thread.

Over the years Kevin has made many boaters day by getting their boats running so they could be in the run. I have seen him loan and install drives on boats so they could run.

We always try to have a couple of people that can provide emergency service to the boaters.

Kevin has been with the run all 11 years helping people to launch and retreive their boats and doing what it takes to make sure everyone has a great time.

Default Thanks to Kevin and all the guys in Jaxville

I want to also thank Kevin Brady and all the guys who help make the run smooth. He is there helping with everything and he makes sure you get in the water, he works with the crane company, he makes sure you get the right slip for your boat, he is all over the fun run, the Sat run, and he stays with you until you leave. As we were leaving Sunday morn, he was still at it helping Kenny Anderson get Phantom lifted out. Kevin makes this run a blast! This guy is a class act all the way. Thank You Kevin!

All I'm noticing this year is a hugely reduced lack of attention and coverage of the event.

I haven't gone back to previous years threads and posts to compare , just my impression.

That's unfortunate.
I know Bill PYBURN and a team of volunteers has put a ton of effort into this event in the past and I'm sure FPC gave it a good shot this year also.

Is it also the economy that has caused this to be a smaller event ?

One thing I'm sure that has reduced exposure is the lack of one of OSOs photographers providing us with a bunch of good pics.

Kudos to all the volunteers that give their all to make these events as good as can be.

Kudos to everyone involved in putting on the run. Thanks to Bill Sr. and associates for the great food at the lunch run on Friday I had a great time and the buffet at the poker run dinner was excellent. It was a small fun group of like minded individuals who enjoy boating.
Kurt. I am sorry I didn't get a chance to look at your Bertram closer I was busy rangling up our fuzzy crew sat. morning after the party friday night. We aireated a prop at lightspeed, on Plyburns tail, motor hit limiter and bruised something hopefully in the valve train. It put us out for the day. Great group of guys from Tenn. who I look forward to boating with soon. You guys get some rest! After three runs in three weeks I would be tired too. Lol!

Sorry to have missed You, bummer about the mechanical part. All in all things went well for me. Bertram ran hard with no issues.

Me and the GF had a blast at this run.

This was my first time in this event and really enjoyed myself and the people that attended and planned the Run. I have to give the biggest thanks to Peter (paradox) for letting us join him him on his beautiful 33' Avanti, I can't say enough good things about him.

I can say for 100% that we will be back for this run every year that they continue to put it on. They hosted a well run event, the food and stops were great, and the people were amazing. We are new to powerboating and currently buying our first "go fast". This event as a whole just put the final nail into the deal and we will be back for next year and every year after.

Thank you to all who helped make this a great weekend to remember.

This was my first FPC run and had a great time for sure meeting and hanging out with everyone. I'm sure Stu and the rest will get this run back up because it is a great venue and they sure do know how to run an event. The attendance might have been down form years past but I bet the enthusiasm wasn't and the quality of boats was awesome to see.

I have several pics that the wife is editing today so stay tuned...
