The mega banks are not easy to deal with. I used a small town bank & was approved in literally less than 5 mins. Had 35% down & credit score over 800

Exactly. And guess what. They get bailed out and the debt doesn't get erased. So if they collect on the debt they get paid twice. Woooo Hoooo!!!

Yup..."that guy" usually chimes in about now.

To some extent hes right- to another extent he doesn't understand the concept of OPM. (other peoples money)
especially if you can get a low interest loan.

Yeah, Time to find another bank, Most banks only have a certian amount of cash on hand. But 8500.00 I would have close out right then and their and demanded cash. I actully did this in 2000, Harris bank pissed me off and I said close out my account and pulled 35k in case out, they wanted to give me a bank draft and I declined. My worked at the bank and they told her what I was doing she said you pissed him off and has the right to close out and ask for the cash.
